New Haven, Ct. bred                                                                   Moe Potts  grew up playing drums with countless bands on the Connecticut scene since the age of Fourteen. Moe grew up inspired by  Ringo Starr, Dino Danelli and Carmine Appice  who he took lessons from at the age of 17. Moe was  the drummer for the New York based band The Laughing Dogs’ and played on both Columbia albums and many of the Laughing Dogs indie CDs.  Moe’s career has included playing drums and touring Internationaly for Johnny Winter and drumming for Michael Bolotin (who later became Michael Bolton). He also formed a group with his dear friend and Foghat legend , the late and great Rod “the slide” Price. Moe also  recorded  the drum s on Rod Price’s Last album“West Four” and  Rattlesnake Guitar: The Music of Peter Green.” with Rod, Lonesome Dave Prevet of Foghat, Harvey brooks (Dylan & Hendrix) and South side Johnny. Moe went on to play and tour with England's Ian Hunter ( Mott the Hoople) and Guitar legend Mick Ronson of David Bowie. Performing on stage with the likes of Rick Deringer, Edgar Winter, Axel Rose, Slash and Guitarist extrodinare, Brian May of Queen.

Moe continued to teach and do drum clinics, write drum articles, play live and in the studio when off the road.

Moe’s last tour was with singer/songwriter Billy Falcone who was produced by Bon Jovi. Touring the U.S. with Steve Nicks, Don Henley and Richy Sambora. Drumming for Billy he also performed at ‘Farm Aide” and on the tonight show with Johnny Carson.
